Leadership Greene
Homegrown leaders are essential to Greene County’s future. Leadership Greene is a countywide program that takes individuals with leadership drive, motivation and ommitment and gives them the skills, knowledge and networks they need to assume leadership roles in their businesses, community organizations and local government.

The program kicks off annually in January with a professionally facilitated, two-day retreat at the Kaatskill Mountain Club in Hunter. Participants then meet twice monthly for six months at various sites throughout the county, such as DynaBil Industries, Holcim and the Cornell Cooperative Extension Agroforestry Resource enter, where they are given the opportunity to interact with business and community leaders. The program is open to anyone who works or resides in Greene County.

Business After Hours Networking (BAHN)
BAHN is a great way for members to turbo charge their business networks, while enjoying a fun and festive evening at a local area business or restaurant. Sponsoring businesses have the inside track to discuss and showcase their products and services, discuss company milestones or promote other business messages.

Power Networking Luncheons
Designed to help members expand their customer base, Power Networking Luncheons are based on the model of speed dating – but without the commitment. Attendees participate in a series of well-structured, one-on-one exchanges that help them hone their “elevator speech” skills, while learning about other area businesses. Held at restaurants throughout Greene County, Power Networking Luncheons are a fast, friendly way to make dozens of new business connections.

Business Education
Being up-to-date on the latest marketing and management tools and trends is essential to business success. That’s why the Chamber sponsors free or low-cost seminars for members on putting these tools and trends to work for their organizations. Topics range from marketing and communications to sales and finance. Also, the Chamber offers participants in Greene County’s Microenterprise Assistance Program a free, one-year membership.
